The Presidential Leadership Council (PLC)held an extraordinary meeting chaired by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, the Chairman of the Council, with the presence of all its members Sultan al-Aradah, Tariq Saleh, Abdulrahman al-Mahrami, Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, Othman Majli, Mahmoud al-Subaihi and Salem Al-Khanbashi to discuss national and regional developments and the proposed policies to address them at all levels. Aden (Saba)- Human Rights Ministry has denounced assaulting mothers of detainees on Wednesday by the Houthi-Saleh militias in front of the Political Security's jail in Sana'a.

The ministry said that the mothers were pursued and prevented from riding any transportation means.

In a statement the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) obtained a copy of it, the ministry demanded the international community to shoulder its responsibility and put an end to escalating violations committed against civilians and put pressures on them to unearth the destiny of thousands of enforcedly disappeared persons.

The ministry affirmed that the Houthi-Saleh militias used all immoral methods in dealing with detainees and their mothers, signaling out that their behaviors and acts contradict all international treaties and conventions which allow detainees to be visited by their relatives.
