ADEN – SABA

Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani received Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden, a copy of the credentials of the Ambassador of the sisterly State of Kuwait to Yemen, Falah bin Fahad Al-Mutairi.

The Prime Minister welcomed the Kuwaiti ambassador and wished him success in carrying out his duties.

He affirmed the depth of the distinguished and historic brotherly relations between Yemen and Kuwait, as well as the mutual commitment to strengthening and developing them across various fields.

The meeting addressed areas of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries, in addition to recent developments on the national and regional arenas, particularly the military escalation in the region and the blatant Iranian attacks on the sovereignty of several sisterly states and their serious consequences for international peace and security.

Dr. Zindani reiterated Yemen’s firm and full support for the State of Kuwait in confronting what he described as blatant Iranian aggressions, including the latest incident involving an armed group affiliated with Iran’s Revolutionary Guard allegedly infiltrating Kuwait’s Bubiyan Island.

He also expressed Yemen’s full solidarity with all measures Kuwait takes to protect its security, stability, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador conveyed the greetings of Kuwait’s leadership to the Prime Minister, affirming his country’s commitment to continuing support for Yemen and its legitimate leadership, as well as strengthening bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations in various fields.
