Yemen Strongly Condemns Blatant Iranian Attacks on Saudi Arabia
[28/02/2026 06:21]

ADEN – SABA
The Republic of Yemen has strongly condemned the blatant and cowardly Iranian attacks targeting the territory of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, describing them as a clear violation of its sovereignty and an unacceptable assault on its security and stability.

Yemen labeled the attack as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional peace and security.

In a statement issued Saturday, the government of Yemen affirmed full and unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its brotherly people.

It reiterated that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of Yemen’s own security, and that any infringement on its sovereignty or stability constitutes a direct threat to Yemeni national security and to the entire Arab system.

The government indicated that these attacks once again reveal Iran’s approach of exporting crises and expanding the scope of confrontation through aggressive policies and armed tools operating outside the law, thereby destabilizing the security of countries in the region, undermining international stability, and threatening vital waterways and global energy sources.

The government of Yemen held the Iranian regime fully responsible for this dangerous escalation and for any resulting consequences, stressing that the continuation of its interference in regional affairs will bring nothing but further instability and international isolation.

It also affirmed its full support for the measures taken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect its security, its citizens, and residents within its territory, including its legitimate right to deter aggression in accordance with international law.

Furthermore, the government called on the international community to adopt a firm stance regarding these serious violations and to work to deter any behavior that could ignite a wider confrontation, the consequences of which would be catastrophic for the region and the world.
