Yemen’s Ambassador to Indonesia, Salem Balfakeeh, met Monday with Indonesia’s Minister of Religious Affairs, Yaqut Cholil Qoumas, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations and reactivate joint committees between the two countries.

The talks focused on mechanisms for sending Indonesian students to study in Yemen, ensuring high-quality educational outcomes that benefit both Indonesia and the wider Islamic world.

Ambassador Balfakeeh also briefed the minister on the latest developments in Yemen, expressing appreciation for Indonesia’s continued support for Yemen and its government.
