Defense Minister meets with chief British Military advisor in Middle East

The Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri met today, Thursday, in the temporary capital Aden, with the Chief of British Military Advisors in the Middle East, Admiral Edward Graham and the British Military Attaché at the British Embassy in the Republic of Yemen Colonel Paddy Williams.

They discussed the military and security developments in the Yemeni national arena and the threats of the Iranian regime backed terrorist Houthi militias to the international maritime navigation.

The conversations touched on the Iranian continuous role in smuggling weapons and drugs to the terrorist Houthi militias and the collaboration between the Houthis and terrorist groups and organizations.

General al-Daeri restated that the key solution to secure the region and international shipping lanes is to support the Yemeni armed forces so that they can do their job sufficiently and effectively.
