Minister of Industry and Trade, Mohammed Al-Ashwal, emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among least developed countries (LDCs) to address common challenges.

Speaking at the 16th Conference of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva, Al-Ashwal highlighted the importance of a fair and equitable global financial system.

Al-Ashwal noted that Yemen is a prime example of the challenges faced by LDCs in achieving sustainable development and justice amidst exceptional circumstances. He emphasized the need for flexible financing, responsible partnerships, and collective commitment to support LDCs.
