The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi met today, Monday, with the British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Abda Sharif.

They conferred over bilateral relations and cooperation and the developments in the national Yemeni arena.

Dr. highly praised the British supportive stances in support of the PLC and the government, greatly valued the UK's constant support for the Yemeni people at the international stages and economic, political and security areas.

He also expressed thanks and gratitude to the Ambassador Sharif for her sincere efforts to support the unity and coherence of the PLC as well as to sustain the efforts of the government and the Central Bank of Yemen in the economic and financial domains.

The British Ambassador confirmed London's continuous support for the PLC and the Yemeni government.
