The Ministry of Water and Environment, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), launched a workshop to develop Yemen's National Adaptation Plan (NAP) - a comprehensive strategy to combat climate change impacts.
Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Sharjabi, stated that the plan aims to enhance Yemen's resilience to climate change, protect food and water security, and promote sustainable development.
The workshop brought together representatives from government ministries, environmental agencies, private sector, and international organizations to discuss the plan's objectives, roles, and responsibilities
