Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basuhayb, met with several UN officials to discuss ways to enhance coordination and joint cooperation efforts between the government and UN organizations.
Dr. Basuhaib met with the Economic Advisor to the Office of the United Nations Resident Coordinator, Dr. Mohammed Al-Bataniah, to discuss enhancing coordination and joint cooperation efforts to determine development priorities that meet the needs of the current phase.
They reviewed the government's most prominent requirements for implementing priority development projects, including supporting vital sectors such as food security, energy, water, education, and health.
