Defense Minister praises United States' supportive stances in support of Yemen

RIYADH - SABA
The Minister of Defense (Lt Gen) Mohsen al-Daeri highly praised the supportive stances of the United States in support of Yemen, deeply appreciating its military cooperation with the internationally recognized Yemeni government.

He voiced his remark during his talks today, Wednesday, with the Military Attaché at the American Embassy in the Republic of Yemen Colonel Sean Newcomb.

The conversations covered the Yemeni-American military cooperation, U.S. support for the Yemeni coast guard and joint efforts to control smuggling businesses.

General al-Daeri underscored the dangerous consequences of the ongoing cooperation and collusion between the terrorist Houthi militias and other terrorist groups in Yemen and Somalia.

The American Military Attaché praised the recent accomplishments achieved by the Yemeni forces in intercepting shipments of Iranian weapons smuggled to the terrorist Houthi militias.
