Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population discussed Tuesday with the International Rescue Committee and the Marie Stopes Health Organization their health interventions in remote areas.
The meeting addressed the operational mechanisms of health centers supported by the International Rescue Committee and Marie Stopes, the priorities of these centers, how to provide services to citizens, and the difficulties and obstacles facing health facilities.
In the meeting, which was attended by Dr. Iqbal Shaif, Director General of Reproductive Health, and Dr. Bashir Al-Fadhli, Director of the Organizations Department at the Ministry of Health, al-Shabhi praised the level of health interventions by the two organizations.
He emphasized the importance of enhancing coordination efforts to streamline interventions, prevent duplication, and direct them towards areas in need.
