Yemen's Ambassador to the European Union, Mohammed Taha Mustafa, met with the Advisor to the European Council's President for Foreign Affairs, Marie-Jeanne Dos Santos, in Brussels.
The Ambassador delivered a letter from Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, addressed to European Union Council President António Costa, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations.
During their discussion, Ambassador Mustafa briefed Dos Santos on the latest developments in Yemen, emphasizing the Houthi militia's continued stubbornness regarding peace initiatives.
He highlighted the economic challenges resulting from the militia's blockade on oil exports and threats to Red Sea navigation.
Dos Santos reaffirmed the European Union's support for the government and presidential leadership council.
