Gulf-European statement stresses importance of supporting Yemen' economy
The joint statement of the 29th Ministerial Meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union on Yemen and the Red Sea stressed the importance of the combined efforts of the Gulf Cooperation Council and European Union countries to mobilize humanitarian and development aid, enabling the Yemeni government to fulfill its obligations, restore economic stability and strengthen the role of the Central Bank of Yemen.

Foreign Minister discusses with European official coordination to address regional, international challenges

RIYADH - SABA
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed Wednesday with the Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the European External Action Service Helene Le Gal and her accompanying delegation ways to enhance partnership and cooperation between Yemen and the European Union.

They emphasized the importance of continued coordination to address regional and international challenges and promote security and stability in the region.

The meeting also touched on the latest developments in Yemen, where Minister Zindani stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts to support development and humanitarian response and meeting the basic service needs of citizens to alleviate suffering.

For her part, the Director for the Middle East and North Africa at the European External Action Service emphasized the European Union's commitment to continuing support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the government in various fields.
