Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak, opened a high-level workshop, here today, on enhancing law enforcement efforts to combat corruption.
The workshop aims to develop a comprehensive national vision to promote transparency, accountability, and the rule of law.
In his opening remarks, the Prime Minister emphasized that combating corruption and promoting transparency are essential for achieving political stability, economic recovery, and restoring citizens' trust in state institutions.
He highlighted the government's commitment to a clear and comprehensive vision to address corruption, which is a key priority in the government's five-track plan.
The Prime Minister stressed that corruption not only wastes public resources but also hinders development, undermines institutions, and creates a gap between citizens and the state.
He emphasized that fighting corruption is no longer a choice but a necessity and that it requires a high level of responsibility and commitment from all stakeholders.
