CBY announces an auction for sale of foreign currencies next Tuesday

The Central Bank of Yemen (CBY) announced today, Tuesday, about opening of an auction for the sale of thirty million US dollars (30,000,000 USD), next Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
The bank called on those wishing to participate in the auction to submit bids using the Refinitiv electronic platform, noting that banks that do not have access to the Refinitiv platform will submit bids on their behalf based on an official request submitted to the CBY via the e-mail designated for this purpose during the above-mentioned auction period.
The bank stipulated that the amount of the bid should be in multiples of one thousand dollars and that the total bids submitted by each participant should not exceed 30% of the total value of the auction, noting that the participant is not entitled to cancel or change the bids after submitting them.
