The Chairman of the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority, Engineer Ahmed Al-Tamimi, met with Dr. Hussein Jadin, Resident Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Yemen, to discuss strengthening cooperation and exchanging geological and hydrological data.
The meeting focused on establishing a strategic partnership, with Al-Tamimi highlighting the Authority's readiness to implement a phased cooperation plan.
This plan includes creating a comprehensive digital database, starting with digitizing geological and hydrological maps to improve institutional performance and support informed decision-making.
