The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Maj. General Faraj al-Bahsani met today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to the Republic of Yemen Abda Sharif.
They discussed the developments of the national and regional situations, the challenges facing the PLC and its efforts to control corruption, boost transparency and accountability to achieve the needed institutional reforms.
The talks also touched on the designation of the Houthi militias as a Terrorist Group and the PLC's role in dealing with this file.
The PLC's Member voiced his thanks to the British Ambassador for her significant efforts to help Yemen, underlining the need for the continuation of the international support to help establishing stability and development.
The British Ambassador reiterated her country's support for the PLC and the government.
Sharif also confirmed London's support for Yemen in the fields of politics, military, economy and humanitarian aid.
