General al-Zubaidi Commends Kuwait's Support for Yemen

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Major General Aidrous al-Zubaidi met Thursday with the Ambassador of Kuwait to Yemen Falah al-Hajraf.

During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed, led by the political and economic situation in Yemen amid the current circumstances in the region, as well as the ongoing Houthi terrorist attacks on international maritime navigation lines and their targeting of the main oil export ports in the country.

The meeting also addressed ways to enhance the support provided by Kuwait for development and the improvement of infrastructure in the service sector, as well as supporting the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to lift the country out of its crisis and improve the living conditions of citizens.

Major General al-Zubaidi expressed his appreciation for the leading humanitarian and developmental role played by Kuwait and its sincere brotherly positions alongside Yemen in various stages and circumstances.

He praised the generous and continuous support that Kuwait has provided throughout its history to enhance stability and achieve sustainable development in Yemen, as well as its unlimited brotherly support for rehabilitating the infrastructure that has been destroyed by the war in several vital sectors, especially in education and health and its ongoing support in the humanitarian field.

For his part, Ambassador Al-Hajraf confirmed his country's commitment to continue supporting Yemen during this critical phase, noting that Kuwait will work to intensify its efforts in implementing sustainable development projects and enhancing cooperation with the government in various
