The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Afrah al-Zouba stated that the Yemeni state undertakes its constitutional and sovereign responsibility to protect its citizens, lands, coasts, ports and territorial waters, and that enabling its institutions to carry out this responsibility is a key element for the security of Bab al-Mandeb, the Red Sea and international navigation and trade.

Baggash praises Turkish support for Yemen

Under-Secretary for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Mansour Baggash highly praised Turkish supportive stances in support of the Yemeni people and its internationally recognized government, deeply appreciating the Turkish contribution to the relief and humanitarian actions in Yemen.

He voiced his statement during his conversations today, Thursday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Republic of Yemen Mostafa Pollat.

Baggash conferred with Pollat over Yemeni-Turkish bilateral relations, cooperation and coordination.

The Turkish Ambassador reaffirmed his government's support for the Yemeni government, represented by the Presidential Leadership Council and the ongoing efforts aiming to establish security and stability in Yemen.
