Monaco secured a victorious return to the Champions League by stunning 10-man Barcelona with 2-1 win, in the match that brought them together in Stad Luis II.

Monaco's goals were scored by Magnus Akliuch in the 16th minute, and George Elenikhina in the 71st minute, while Barcelona's goal was scored by Lamine Yamal in the 28th minute.

The match witnessed the expulsion of Barcelona player Eric Garcia in the tenth minute.
