Spain secured their first win since lifting the Euro 2024 title by comprehensively defeating Switzerland 4-1in the match that brought them together in the second round of Group 4 of the first level of the UEFA Nations League.

The Spanish national team raised its score to four points in second place in the group, two points behind the leading Danish national team, while the Swiss national team occupies the last place in the group without any points.

In a second match, the Portuguese national team defeated its Scottish counterpart 2-1 today in the second round of Group 1 of the first level of the competition.
