Juventus tied with its guest Roma team 1-1, in a showdown within the competitions of the third round of the Italian Football League.

The two teams wasted many opportunities during the two halves of the match to share the match points.

Juventus failed to regain the league lead, only raising its score to 7 points in second place, with goal difference behind the title holder, Inter, the leader, while Roma's score froze at two points in seventeenth place.
