Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi along with two of his deputies Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi and Sheikh Othman Mujalli inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for more than 260 development and service projects in Taiz Governorate.
Of the inaugurated projects, 104 of are externally funded and others are government-funded.
The projects cover several sectors including the sectors of agriculture, food security, roads, water, environmental sanitation, health, and education.
Al-Alimi referred during the inauguration to importance of the development and humanitarian interventions that the government, local authorities, UN agencies and international organizations are working on in terms of alleviating the humanitarian crisis caused by the terrorist Houthi militia.
