The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre's project "MASAM" has removed 720 landmines during the second week of August 2024, planted by the terrorist Houthi militias in various governorates.
The Centre stated in a press release that the cleared landmines included 3 anti-personnel, 56 anti-tank, 647 unexploded ordnances, and 14 explosive devices.
This brings the total number of landmines removed during August to 1,390, and the total number of landmines removed since the beginning of the "MASAM" project to 454,688 thousand landmines randomly planted by Houthi terrorist militia across various Yemeni lands.
These landmines has left more innocent victims, including children, women, and the elderly.
