Minister of Water and Environment Eng. Tawfiq al-Sharjabi held discussions today, Thursday, in the interim capital Aden with the Resident Representative of the UNDP in Yemen Dr. Zena Ali over the partnership and coordination between the Ministry and the UNDP.
The conversations focused on the ongoing joint efforts to carry out the projects in the areas of water, energy, agriculture and livelihoods in the coastal regions. It is important to mention that there are now 15 projects are being implemented in the fields of water, agriculture and livelihood.
The two sides underscored the importance of further increase the partnership between the ministry and the UNDP in the water sector.
