The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has welcomed the statement of the UN Special Envoy's office yesterday regarding the Yemeni government and Houthi terror militia agreement on measures to de-escalate tensions regarding the banking sector and Yemeni airlines.

The Saudi foreign ministry expressed in a statement support for the UN efforts aimed at achieving peace and security for Yemen.

The Kingdom reiterated its support for Yemen, its government and people, and its interest to encourage efforts to reduce escalation and maintain calm.
