Yemen participated today in the meetings of the assemblies of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) held at the organization’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Yemen's delegation to the event is headed by the Permanent Representative of Yemen to the European Headquarters of the United Nations in Geneva Ambassador Dr. Ali Mujawar.
The meetings discuss a number of vital topics, including promoting innovation, stimulating the digital economy by protecting intellectual property rights, and ways to protect cultural and knowledge heritage in light of contemporary challenges.
