ARAFAT - SABA
Yemeni pilgrims among more than two million pilgrims ascended today to the holy mount of Arafa to perform the major rituals of Hajj, the noon and afternoon prayers, both combined and shortened. Then they begin to perform ifadhah, heading to Muzdalifah to spend the night there, then return from there to Mina to complete the Hajj rituals.
Yemen's pilgrims' camps comprise four service centers, in which there is an integrated system of transportation and various logistical services that the Saudi authorities have harnessed to serve the pilgrims, and have provided an integrated atmosphere for the comfort of the guests of God, to perform their rituals with ease and reassurance.
The area of Arafat is approximately 33 square kilometers, where more than two million pilgrims gather this year.
The largest pillar of the pilgrimage is standing on Mount Arafat, and the rites of pilgrimage would not be complete without it, as with the rising of the sun on the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah, the pilgrim would leave Mina to go to Arafat to stand there.
