Agriculture and fisheries ministry discusses interventions of American Samaritan's Purse in Yemen

Yemen's Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, held discussions with the American Samaritan's Purse over the interventions and projects implemented by the organization in the agriculture and fish sectors, and the “Your Power” livelihood project, which includes supporting poor families in Aden working in livestock rearing and marketing dairy products.

The meeting touched on the livelihoods project to be implemented during the coming period, which targets the fish sector in the governorates of Aden and Taiz by supporting fishermen with boats and engines, and targeting women’s fish associations by training coastal women in making fishing nets.
