Health Minister discusses with National Atomic Energy nuclear medicine issues

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhybeh discussed Wednesday with the team of the National Atomic Energy Committee headed by the Secretary-General of the Committee Dr. Abdullah al-Shami topics related to the role of the committee in the fields of nuclear medicine and dependent medical interventions.

The Minister emphasized the importance of completing the nuclear medicine project in Aden due to its significance in the lives of citizens.

He stressed the need to expedite the resumption of the project with the available resources, operate the available equipment in the project building, and evaluate the extent of their utilization.

He also emphasized the importance of encouraging innovative initiatives to ensure the success of the project and fostering partnerships with national capital to invest in this field.

The Secretary-General of the National Atomic Energy Committee confirmed that the committee seeks to support the Ministry of Health in the completion of its projects relying on nuclear medicine.

He presented a range of areas of mutual cooperation and the possibility of enhancing coordination in these domains.
