Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "The Israeli occupation army's preparations to storm the city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip are meant as going to extreme lengths in killing and abusing the Palestinian people and forcibly displacing them, and are clear evidence that the Israeli occupation forces are committing the crime of genocide and ethnic cleansing."
In a statement of which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy, the ministry said, "Yemen warns that this barbaric crime will have serious repercussions on security and peace in the region, for which the Israeli occupation forces bear responsibility."
It called on the international community and the UN Security Council to do their duty to stop this barbaric aggression and protect the defenseless Palestinian people from the Israeli massacres.
