A training course in the field of tenders, auctions, and government warehouses law was held here today as organized by the Ministry of Finance within the capacity building matrix in the financial reforms program.
The five-day course aims to train 25 general directors of financial affairs in ministries’ offices on the government's Tenders, Auctions and Stores Law No. (23) of 2007, its executive regulations and standard documents.
Deputy Finance Minister for the Regulation and Government Accounts Sector, Khaled Al-Yarimi, stressed the importance of the course in enhancing and developing the participants’ knowledge about the law of tenders and auctions, and how to confront and overcome the challenges and difficulties they face, and raise the level of financial work performance in the ministries’ offices in line with the process of financial reforms in the field of public finance.
