AL-MUKALLA-SABA
The second international conference on patients safety kicked-off its discussions this evening, Saturday, in the city of al-Mukalla, Hadrmout governorate.
The three-day deliberations headlined" Patient Safety between Reality and Aspirations".
The gathering is organized by the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Arab University during the time from 23 to 25 December.
As many as 1,200 participants from medical and academic staff and experts, including 800 participants from Yemen and 10 countries in America, European countries, Southeast Asia and Arab countries, are set to contribute to the discussions vi video link .
In his opening remarks, Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasim Buhaibeh underscored the importance of the conference that hopefully will come up with recommendations that can enhance patient safety and improve the quality of health services.
