Taiz Pivot discusses enhancing cooperation with ICRC

Deputy Commander of Taiz Pivot General Abdulaziz al-Majidi discussed Wednesday with the Director of the International Committee of the Red Cross's Office in Taiz Ashraf Abu Ashmah means of enhancing cooperation between the two parties.

General al-Majidi confirmed keenness of the pivot on facilitating all difficulties before the organization and providing everything possible for easing its work in Taiz Province. He praised efforts of ICRC in alleviating suffering of the war-affected people, including prisoners and the kidnapped in Houthi militia's detentions.

For his part, the former Director of the Office Ahmad Khaled thanked the command of Taiz Pivot on cooperation with the organization during his tenure in the province and facilitating tasks of the organization.

Meanwhile, Abu Ashmah confirmed continuous humanitarian cooperation between the organization and the army and security institutions in Taiz in different humanitarian domains.
