Governor of Taiz, Nabil Shamsan, confirmed that shifting from emergency aid to sustainable development is the safest approach to achieving real development at the individual and family levels.

This came during the inauguration of the National Policy Workshop to Address Displacement with the participation of representatives of the local authority in the governorates of Taiz and Hodeidah, which aims to familiarize the participants with the national policy and its establishment.

The Governor of Taiz stressed the necessity of preparing and representing the 2024-2026 economic development plan for the governorate in coordination with the Office of Planning and International Cooperation in the governorate.
