Al-Erada calls on international community to press for releasing all prisoners

Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sultan al-Erada called on the International Community (IC) to mount pressures upon Houthi militia to implement the UN-sponsored agreements about the prisoner-exchange, first of all is Stockholm Agreement which stipulated to release all the prisoners and abductees on the basis of all for all.

He stressed that the file of the prisoners and kidnapped people is a humanitarian issue shouldn't be used for bargaining and blackmailing by the terrorist Houthi militias to achieve more attainments.

His comments came during his talks today, Tuesday, here in Marib with the political advisor and the official in charge of the detainees' file in the Office of the UN's envoy to Yemen Radhwa Noor.

Al-Erada stated that the PLC and the government are keen to handle the file of the prisoners and abductees through the execution of the reached agreements to exchange the prisoners with the Houthi militias.
