Prime Minister urges redoubling efforts to ensure sufficient fuels constantly

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik directed the authorities in charge to double down the efforts and carry out the stated measures to ensure the availability of oil derivatives, cooking gas and fuels for electricity stations regularly.

He gave the directives as he chaired today, Monday, in the temporary capital Aden a meeting brought together the headships of Oil and Minerals Ministry, the two companies of oil and Aden Refineries and the Yemeni Corporation for Oil and Gas.

The meeting aimed to discuss the situation of the oil derivatives and cooking gas supplies in the domestic markets and to secure the required fuels to operate the electricity stations constantly.

The Prime Minister stressed that action plans to reinvigorate Aden Refineries must be accomplished and implemented as soon as possible to restore its role in storing and refining businesses to meet the needs of the domestic market for oil derivatives.
