President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, received today at his residence in New York, along with Council member Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan conveyed to President Al-Alimi the greetings of the Saudi leadership and their wishes of welfare for him and stability, development and peace for the Yemeni people.
In turn, the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council urged the Saudi Minister to convey his greetings to King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, and his wishes of abundant health and wellness for them, and progress and prosperity for the Saudi nation.
The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council praised the Kingdom's honorable position alongside the Yemeni people at various stages and circumstances, leading to its good endeavors to bring peace and stability to the country.
The meeting touched on the latest developments in the Yemeni situation, and regional and international efforts to renew the truce and build on it to launch a comprehensive political process in accordance with the terms of reference agreed upon nationally, regionally and internationally.
