Deputy Governor of Marib, Dr. Abd-Rabbu Miftah, discussed today, with the Manager of Education at UNICEF mission in Yemen, Manar Ahmed, who is currently visiting the governorate, and the Director of the organization's office in the governorate the expansion of the organization's interventions to support the public education sector in the governorate.
Miftah praised the humanitarian interventions to help the education sector overcome some of the challenges and fill some of the needs gaps, pointing out the great needs and representing a challenge to the education sector, and large numbers of students and children are still outside the education due to the schools’ inability to accommodate them, noting that the governorate hosts more than 62 percent of the displaced people in the Republic, in addition to the continued displacement.
