Prime Minister convenes ministerial meeting to review the progress in implementing the reforms

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik convened a ministerial meeting today, Wednesday, in the temporary capital Aden intended to make assessment of the progress realized in implementing the economic, financial and administrative reforms.

The meeting which included a number of the Ministers of the concerned Ministries and the Governor of the Central Bank of Yemen reviewed the required practical measures within the framework of the reforms in connection with the stated support for state's general budget provided by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The concerned Ministries and authorities are being urged to accelerate working out the time-framed plans and practical measures to carry out the provisions stipulated in the grant to support the state's general budget and go on implementing the needed reforms.

The Ministers of Finance and Civil Service & Insurances reported about the implementation of the decision to pay salaries of the employees through banks within the reformative measures aimed to correct the irregularities and implement the financial and administrative reforms.
